No Bake Tahini, Oat, Fruit and Nut Bites
Food to make you feel good from our retreat kitchen here at De Tout Coeur Limousin. This no bake tahini, oat, fruit and nut bites recipe is quick and easy to make, and a delicious way of adding protein as well as essential vitamins, minerals and heart healthy fats. They are also vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and have no added refined sugar.
Tahini - the blended sesame paste is a great source of protein, fibre, monounsaturated fats, and vitamins B1 and B2, as well as the minerals - calcium, copper, selenium, phosphorus, zinc and iron. It can be used in so many other recipes too - from hummus and baba ghanoush to roast vegetables, cake and biscuit recipes, or just on toast as an alternative to peanut butter. Delicious stuff!

tbsp maple syrup

of sea salt
method:
place all the ingredients in a food processor/blender and mix well until you have a smooth paste.
shape the mixture into bite size/tablespoon size pieces. Leave to set for at least 1 hour in the fridge before eating.
store in an airtight container in the fridge. Bon appetit!
