Bonjour May! Misty mornings, forest light beams and a new garden visitor
Bonjour May! We were greeted on the 1st day of May with this beautiful morning mist rolling across the hills towards Lac de Vassiviere, and light beams in our forest.
The garden also had another visitor last night, a rather curious red fox. It stopped and watched us a for while through the garden door window, before getting back to the search for food. It was last seen running off with my rather heavy failed sourdough loaf between its teeth!
Days and moments like these are a reminder to appreciate and be in the moment. To notice the beauty and life around us. Wishing all a happy and peaceful May.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe it either! I normally see them out in the fields, but this when came up close to the front door and just seemed to watch for a while, before going back to his travels. I was so pleased I had my phone next to me so I could take a few pics.
Deleteoh my god, that's a fox!
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely surprise, I don't often get to see them so still and close up.
