Exploring the Limousin. A wonderful place to explore on foot and renowned for the many footpaths and trails in the area. With walks suitable for all levels and abilities - from a short stroll along the Lac de Vassiviere to longer walking holidays taking in the lush green Limousin countryside, lakes and mountainous terrain. The Limousin is also a haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers alike with many species making their home in the unspoiled landscape. There will definitely be many opportunities to get the camera out and snap away too. 

 A current favourite walking circuit that starts nearby us here at De Tout Coeur Limousin is the circuit des 2 digues (the circuit of 2 barrages). A beautiful 7km route taking in the 2 barrages on the Lac de Vassiviere, then off into the forest through farmland and rural French villages, taking in several puys and viewing points along the way. A lovely way to spend a few hours.
