Sing from the Heart singing holidays in France at De Tout Coeur Limousin


Our recent Sing from the Heart singing holiday was a wonderful week of facing fears, making new friends, sharing good food and wine and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of rural Limousin.

It is always a privilege and a pleasure to host our singing holidays here in France. They are open to all abilities and levels of singing experience – the emphasis is on singing from the heart and having fun in a friendly, creative and supportive environment.

We sung a range of group songs including hits by The Beatles, Coldplay, The Waterboys, The Crystals and Pharrell Williams. 

The solo songs that were performed included an eclectic mix from traditional African songs, French chansons and hits by Dusty Springfield, George Ezra, Eddi Reader, Frank and Nancy Sinatra and Jess Glynne to name but a few. 

Although everyone was nervous before they sang their solos the beauty of the song and the singer always shone through. There were several people who had never sung a solo in public before and just faced their fears and did it. Always an inspiring thing to witness and a great achievement that people always remember. 

When we weren't singing there was a chance to explore the local markets, take Eric le chien for walks, enjoy the many cycle trails and or just spend time relaxing in the garden with a good book and a glass of wine.

The final night performance was attended by our local friends and neighbours. Always a well attended event. It warms our heart that our local community supports our concerts here at De Tout Coeur Limousin and they always come laden with various homemade quiches, cakes and other goodies to enjoy and share at the pre-performance buffet. 

We are busy planning and looking forward to our singing holidays next year at De Tout Coeur Limousin. If you would like to know more about our singing holidays and other creative and wellbeing retreats in the heart of rural SW France just get in touch. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
