A weekend of singing, sunshine and the sounds of Africa

A wonderful weekend of singing, sunshine and the beautiful sounds of African music drifting through the rural French countryside. 

Last weekend we were joined here at De Tout Coeur Limousin by musicians and workshop leaders Ali Bullivent and Jane Muller, all the way from sunny Wakefield in the UK. As well as running workshops and performing across the UK, Ali and Jane are also members of the Imba Basi Band, performing original acoustic music influenced by Southern Africa and the West.

As part of Fete de la Musique week their mini tour in the Limousin heard Ali and Jane perform on local Radio Vassivere, La Cabane de la Plage at Broussas beach, Potron Minet in Eymoutiers and a final performance and African singing workshop here at De Tout Coeur Limousin.
